Villages of Hope

Villages of Hope provides support to homeless families and young adults by offering housing and a comprehensive range of services designed to foster independence and stability. The program is committed to addressing the unique needs of individuals and families, helping them achieve dignity and self-sufficiency through a structured support system.

Who Can Apply

Families and Young Adults:

  • Individuals and families experiencing homelessness needing a supportive community to regain stability.

For Young Women’s Program:

  • Not pregnant or in their trimester.
  • Must be employed or enrolled in school.

Deadline

  • No deadline, on-going program. Space is limited.

Helpful Tips

  • Make sure you are open to working towards these goals and actively participating in the program’s activities.
  • If you are in your trimester and expect to give birth soon, apply after three months.
  • Ensure applications are submitted through the appropriate channels and include all required documentation.

How Does It Work

Application

Applications from individuals in foster care must be submitted through their local CBC, as individual requests are not accepted. Email your application to Theresa Peak, Director at theresap@villagesofhope.net

Background Check, Drug Test, and Interview

Complete a background check, drug test, and interview to assess suitability.

In-House Application

If found to be a good fit, you will be provided with an in-house application to complete.

Assessment

Each applicant undergoes a thorough assessment to determine their needs and suitability for the program.

Program Participation

Residents participate in goal-oriented programs focusing on education, employment, health, and life skills.
