The Opportunity Youth Congressional Liaison Program (OYCL) is a paid, virtual fellowship for young people ages 16 to 26 who want to level up their advocacy skills and speak directly to lawmakers.

Who Can Apply

  • Must be between the ages 16-26
  • Current and former Opportunity Youth (not connected to school or the workforce).

Helpful Tips

  • Expect to dedicate about 30 hours over three months

  • Sessions are virtual (evenings, Eastern Time) for accessibility and flexibility. You’ll also enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. for additional trainings and meetings.

  • Earn $2,500 for full participation, plus a $500 bonus when you complete a congressional meeting.
