The Black Girl Ventures Foundation (BGV) addresses the unique challenges Black/Brown women face in accessing social and financial capital to grow their businesses. The NextGen Program is an 8-week accelerator that introduces HBCU students to entrepreneurship as a vital life skill, equipping them to build a brighter future for themselves, their families, and the world at-large. This experience creates access to capital, capacity, and community for student visionaries ranging from 18 to 24 years old.
Who Can Apply
- Ages 18-24
- Must be enrolled at a Historically Black College University (HBCU)
- Must have a business or a viable business idea
- Must identify as under-resourced
- Have the ability to commit to approximately 3 hours per week for 8 weeks.
- Have interest in growing your network and being a part
of a community of student entrepreneurs across the country.
