The Founder/CEO
Aging out of foster care, LilCrystal became the first in her family to graduate from high school and college, earning not just one, but four degrees. Her experiences inspired her to dedicate herself to advocacy and public service, shaping national policies on foster care and championing the rights of foster youth.
Today, LilCrystal is a national advocate, published author, and public speaker. With over a decade of experience in child welfare, she has held impactful roles including Volunteer Guardian Ad Litem, Child Protection Investigator, Foster Youth Intern at the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI), and Congressional Intern for former Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL). LilCrystal’s dedication extends to advocating for transition-aged youth and ensuring quality legal representation for all children. She currently serves as a Board Director at the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) and is preparing to study public interest law.
At UrFuture, LilCrystal’s life—a tapestry of resilience, compassion, and unwavering faith—guides our mission to empower young people to thrive. Join us as we safeguard hope, dreams, and potential towards a brighter future.
