The Latino Hill Staff Academy (LHSA) is a non-partisan, bicameral leadership program dedicated to the professional and leadership development of Latinos on Capitol Hill.

Through both in-person and virtual learning sessions, program participants will expand their network, engage in professional development opportunities, fine tune their leadership and management skills, and work toward their career advancement.

Who Can Apply

• Must must be current DC Hill staff or former staff with a strong desire to return to the Hill.
• Are committed to public service
• Are self-motivated lifelong learners with an open mind
• Are committed to developing their management and leadership skills
• Seek to exchange constructive dialogue with diverse perspectives of other highly motivated individuals that drive purposeful change
• Are self-driven to increase their professional skill sets, to achieve professional excellence and advance their career mobility
• Muat be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or individual who is lawfully authorized to work full-time without restriction for any U.S. employer and who, at the time of application, possess lawful evidence of employment authorization. International students on F-1 or M-1 visas are not eligible for CHCI programs.
