The CBCF Communications Internship Program, sponsored by State Farm, offers college seniors and recent graduates a semester-long opportunity to gain experience in press and media relations on Capitol Hill. This internship provides hands-on experience working with press secretaries or communications directors in various congressional offices, committees, subcommittees, or federal agencies.

Who Can Apply

• Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• U.S. citizenship or work permit for program duration (Jan 10 – May 01, 2026).
• Must be available full-time upon acceptance.
• Must be a current or rising college senior or have graduated within the last 2 years; no graduate degree.
• General knowledge of the federal legislative process, U.S. Congress, and Congressional Black Caucus.
• Superior analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
