The FosterClub All-Star Internship Program was founded on the belief that youth who have successfully transitioned from foster care to responsible young adulthood are best suited to impact the transition of their younger peers.

Who Can Apply

• Have first-hand experience in the child welfare system or foster care.
• Be between the ages of 18 and 24 during the program dates.
• Have the ability to obtain high-speed internet. Telecom stipends are offered to ensure adequate bandwidth. Assistance with other access needs can be arranged if necessary.
• Be able to actively focus and engage online with the cohort for six hours daily during virtual weeks. Online sessions run from:
  • 10am PT | 11am MT | 12pm CT | 1pm ET until
  • 4pm PT | 5pm MT | 6pm CT | 7pm ET
• Be available to travel for training and service in Oregon during the last two weeks of July.

What You’ll Gain

• $500 per week during virtual weeks.
• $250 per week during in-person weeks.
• $1,000 upon completion of the internship.
• $60 to support internet expenses.
• Extensive practical leadership training, mentoring, advocacy, event facilitation experience, and networking opportunities.
• A community of belonging, inspiration, and support.
